Job Description

We are now looking for Night Care Assistants to join us at our lovely care home in Gillingham (Dorset)

  • Brilliant training and the chance for future career progression
  • Full or part time hours, bank contracts available 
  • £8.70 per hour (up to £8.90 should you have the right experience/qualifications) 

As a Night Care Assistant, you will be part of our friendly team who provide individual care to the elderly residents who live at St Martins Grange.  Duties for this rewarding of Night Care Assistant include engaging with residents, being aware of each individual resident’s history and likes and dislikes, washing, dressing, toileting, bathing and carrying out personal appearance care.

Please note the role of Night Care Assistant involves covering nights (8pm to 8am), including alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays (plus pay enhancements).

For the position of Night Care Assistant, we are looking for those with experience in a care role and those with none.  The main qualities you will bring are a determination to provide excellent care for elderly vulnerable people and the desire to create a happy environment for them.  We provide training opportunities so you can gain a Diploma in Health & Social Care.
